A dream that began at home

Spot of Taste began with a mother’s passion for cooking and her desire to build something of her own. While the family was away at work, she wanted to turn her love of preparing food into something meaningful.

Our first attempt was a small tiffin service. Delivery and family availability brought practical challenges, and it couldn’t continue as we hoped. But the dream didn’t end there.

After several attempts and setbacks, we brought our home-style food to customers through Zomato and Swiggy. On 26 October 2025, we completed our very first order—the beginning of the Spot of Taste journey.

We prepare vegetarian food inspired by the warmth and comfort of home cooking. From litti chokha and sattu parathas to everyday favourites, familiar flavours are at the heart of our menu.

Every order is a responsibility to serve food with care and earn our customers’ trust. Seeing customers return is one of the most meaningful parts of our journey.

Litti Chokha: read the portion label before ordering

One item on our current menu is “Bihari Litti Chokha (4 pieces)”. The label confirms the listed piece count; it does not, by itself, confirm serving weight or every accompaniment. Please read the current item details when you order, because menu availability can change.

Ingredients and allergy questions

This page does not provide a verified full ingredient list or allergen statement for the dish. If you have a food allergy or need to avoid an ingredient, contact the kitchen before ordering and ask us to confirm the current preparation. Shared preparation spaces may create cross-contact risk, so please do not rely on the photo or dish name alone.

Check the order details

Before confirming an order, review the current amount and payment option shown in the ordering flow. Prices in old screenshots or on another delivery platform may not match the current direct-order price. If the amount is unclear, pause and contact us rather than guessing.

Fresh delivery depends on your verified location, the active 20 km service radius and kitchen availability. A menu listing does not guarantee that delivery is available for every address or time.

Before you place an order

How do I choose a dish?

Browse the menu, open the item you like and check the available portion or quantity. A food photo shows the dish, but actual presentation may vary. Review the item total, delivery charges and payment options during checkout before confirming.

How do I check Fresh delivery?

Fresh food is offered only where our active kitchen can serve the delivery address. Use “Detect My Location” if you agree to share your location. The current Fresh service radius is 20 km from the kitchen, subject to kitchen availability and final delivery checks. Browsing the menu does not guarantee delivery.

What about packaged products?

Long-life packaged foods are part of our plans. Only items marked as available on the website can be ordered. “Coming Soon” means that particular product or service is not yet available for checkout.

What if I have an allergy or need help?

Ingredients and shared preparation spaces matter. If you have an allergy or other dietary concern, contact the kitchen before ordering rather than relying only on a menu description. For a missing item or cancellation, keep your order number and use the support channel for that order.

Our ambition is to grow Spot of Taste into an Indian food brand, with fresh vegetarian meals available within eligible local delivery areas.

We’re also working toward our own range of shelf-stable packaged foods. These future products and service areas will be shared on this website as they launch. Availability depends on each product and delivery location.
